FRIENDS OF YSTRADFELLTE CHURCH 200 CLUB

The parish church of St Mary has stood in the centre of Ystradfellte for at least 800 years, continuing a 1000 year history of worship.  As well as the historic church the churchyard contains ancient yew trees – some believed to be 1400 years old.  Bowmen from this village, with bows made from these yews, fought at Agincourt in 1415.

The Friends of Ystradfellte Church 200 Club has been set up to generate income for the upkeep and maintenance of the church and its surroundings over the longer term and to give members a chance to win cash prizes.

There will be 2 annual draws, in the autumn around Harvest Festival, and in late Spring.  Cash prizes will be awarded and these will increase as membership increases.  Depending upon the number of members we will give a 1st prize of £200, 2nd will be £100 and then there will be multiple £50 prizes depending upon the total membership of the club (once we reach 100 members then there will be seven £50 prizes in each draw).

You may purchase more than one draw number at a cost of £50 each.  The only restriction is that you must be over 16 to be a member.

You will receive your unique draw number(s) prior to the first draw and your number will remain yours – as long as your standing order is active.  The draws will be held in public and the results will be published online at ystradfellte.net, on village noticeboards and in Ystradfellte Life.

Last, but by no means least, thank-you for your support
