Post Office: Ystradfellte Post Office is based in the Church Hall in the middle of the village. It opens 10am to 12noon Monday-Friday and supplies a small range of essentials (tissues, sellotape, etc) as well as sweets and chocolate. Tel: 01639 722790
Rhos Filling Station & Shop: Near the parking for Clyn-Gwyn waterfalls. For ice cream, confectionary, soft drinks, basic provisions and diesel fuel (no petrol). Open seven days a week. Postcode SA11 5US. Tel: 01639 720547
Toilets: there are public toilets in the Porth Y Ogof carpark.
