New Inn: The New Inn public house is in the middle of the village.  It serves a range of food and drink. The website also provides details of the camping and bunkhouse available via the pub

Four Waterfalls Walk Barn: The barn has just been converted and is so cosy with the log burner and oil central heating and triple glazing. Sleeps 4 Find it on Airbnb.


Clyn Gwyn Bunkhouse and B&B open 365 days a year and welcoming dogs ( ). Offers the following accommodation options:

  • 4 star bunkhouse sleeping up to 19 people

  • B&B sleeping up to 6 people

  • shepherd's hut sleeping up to 2 people




Post Office: Ystradfellte Post Office is based in the Church Hall in the middle of the village.  It opens 10am to 12noon Monday-Friday and supplies a small range of essentials (tissues, sellotape, etc) as well as sweets and chocolate.  Tel:  01639 722790


Rhos Filling Station & Shop: Near the parking for Clyn-Gwyn waterfalls. For ice cream, confectionary, soft drinks, basic provisions and diesel fuel (no petrol). Open seven days a week. Postcode SA11 5US. Tel: 01639 720547


Toilets:  there are public toilets in the Porth Y Ogof carpark.
